Enjoy such a magnificent tour to Mount Sinai and feel the real adventure while climbing the Moses Mountain at night to reach the top of it by the dawn time and see the sunrise – what a pretty view! You will then descent to visit St. Catherine Monastery, one of the oldest Christian monasteries in the Egypt and the whole world.
Evening time, at around 08:30 PM, you’ll be met by our English-speaking tour leader in Sharm El Sheikh in order to travel to St. Catherine by an Air-conditioned vehicle. The distance between Sharm EL Sheikh and St. Catherine takes approximately three hours driving by car. We reach the city of St. Catherine by the midnight and start climbing Moses Mountain by 01:00 AM in order to reach the top of the mountain by the dawn time, so that we can enjoy the stunning view of the sunrise with the shadows of Sinai mountains! This is really an amazing activity you should not miss while staying for few nights in Sharm El Sheikh.
We will then come down at 07:00 AM to have a fast breakfast and take some rest before visiting the St. Catherine Monastery, which considered to be as one of the oldest Christian monasteries in Egypt and the world, as it was dedicated to one of the Alexander’s rulers, St. Catherine, who was tortured to death for the sake of her new faith.
After this remarkable tour in Sinai, we will drive back to Sharm El Sheikh and transfer you to your hotel to have rest after this long day tour to one of the marvelous sites in Egypt.
