You’ll be met by our professional tour guide, who will accompany you in such awe-inspiring tour in Aswan to visit three of the highlights and well-known sites in the city; the High Dam, the Temple of Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk.
The first visit of the day will be to the High Dam, constructed by the former president, Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to protect Egypt from the Nile flood and generate electricity afterwards. We will then enjoy a motorboat to reach the island of Agilika and visit the Temple of Goddess Isis, also known as Temple of Philae, one of the marvelous temples in Aswan that was erected during the Greco-Roman time to be the center of worship of goddess Isis, mother of Horus.
Our last visit will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, found in the southern part of the city. If completed, it would have been the largest piece of stone human ever created.
After the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Aswan, so you can continue your tours in the city by exploring other attractive sites in the city.
