Day 02: Thursday "Cairo Sightseeing Tour"

Enjoy an energizing breakfast at your hotel to start your day. Shortly after, you’ll be met by our expert Egyptologist tour guide, who will accompany you on an unforgettable tour.

Your first stop is the world-renowned Pyramids of Giza, built around 2500 BC as the necropolis of the kings of the Fourth Dynasty. Explore the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, and marvel at the Great Sphinx, the iconic guardian of the plateau with the body of a lion and the face of a king.

Next, we head to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Starting October 16th, guests will have the opportunity to preview twelve meticulously curated exhibition halls, offering a chronological journey through Egypt’s rich history, from prehistoric times to the Roman era. The museum explores the themes of Kingship, Society, and Beliefs, providing a deep understanding of how these concepts shaped ancient Egyptian civilization.

Following the museum visit, we’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor traditional Egyptian cuisine.
Afterward, you'll be transferred back to your hotel for some time to rest and refresh.

The afternoon is free for you to explore Cairo at your leisure, or we can suggest and arrange a variety of optional activities tailored to your interests. Overnight in Cairo. [Breakfast & Lunch]

Day 03: Friday "Cairo to Aswan"

Enjoy an early check-out from your hotel in Cairo. You will then be met by our representative, who will transfer you to Cairo International Airport to catch your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, you’ll be greeted by our local English-speaking representative, who will assist you with all airport formalities. Just outside the airport, your expert tour guide will meet you to begin your Aswan city tour. Our first stop will be the impressive High Dam, a modern engineering marvel built to control the Nile’s flooding and to generate hydroelectric power for Egypt. Next, we’ll take a scenic motorboat ride to Agilika Island, home to the beautiful Temple of Philae. Built during the Greco-Roman period (3rd century BC), this temple was dedicated to Goddess Isis, the mother of Horus and one of the most revered deities in ancient Egypt. We’ll then visit the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive granite structure that, if completed, would have been the largest stone monument ever quarried by humans. After the tour, we will transfer you to your Nile Cruise ship for check-in. The rest of the day is free at your leisure, and we’d be happy to arrange optional evening activities, such as a Sound & Light Show at Philae Temple, or a relaxing felucca ride on the Nile. Overnight on board the cruise in Aswan. [Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner]

Day 04: Saturday "Kom Ombo & Edfu"

Enjoy an energizing breakfast on board your Nile Cruise as we begin another enriching day of exploration. Our first stop will be at Kom Ombo, where we’ll visit the unique Temple of Sobek & Haroeris. Built during the Ptolemaic period and completed in the Roman era, this fascinating temple is dedicated to two gods—Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris (Horus the Elder). Its symmetrical design reflects its dual dedication, making it one of the most distinctive temples in Egypt. After the visit, we’ll return to the cruise ship to enjoy a delicious lunch on board as we sail onward.
In the afternoon, get ready for our second excursion of the day to Edfu, home to the Temple of Horus—the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temple in the country. This impressive structure offers deep insight into the religious architecture and rituals of ancient Egypt. Following the tour, we’ll return to the ship for some time to rest and refresh.
In the evening, enjoy free time at your leisure on board. Don’t miss the oriental show arranged by the cruise staff—a delightful blend of music, dance, and culture. Dinner and overnight on board. [Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner]

Day 05: Sunday "Explore the West Bank of Luxor"

Start your morning with free time at leisure in Luxor. For those seeking a truly unforgettable experience, we highly recommend an optional Hot Air Balloon ride over the West Bank of Luxor—a breathtaking way to witness the sunrise over some of Egypt’s most iconic monuments. After breakfast, we’ll begin our tour with a visit to the legendary Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of the New Kingdom Pharaohs. This vast necropolis is home to some of the richestly decorated tombs ever discovered. Your entry ticket includes access to three tombs, but if you wish to visit the tombs of Tutankhamun, Ramses VI, or Seti I, we can arrange special access tickets at exclusive rates. Our next stop is the magnificent Temple of Deir el-Bahari, built by Queen Hatshepsut of the 18th Dynasty. This striking mortuary temple is nestled beneath towering cliffs and is considered one of the architectural masterpieces of ancient Egypt. We’ll then visit the iconic Colossi of Memnon—two massive statues of Amenhotep III that have stood watch over the Theban Necropolis since 1350 BC. These towering figures are all that remain of what was once a grand mortuary temple and have become one of Luxor’s most photographed landmarks. After this awe-inspiring tour, we’ll transfer you back to your Nile Cruise for an overnight stay on board. [Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner]

Day 06: Monday "Luxor to Cairo"

Enjoy a relaxing breakfast on board your Nile Cruise before disembarking for your final exploration in Luxor. Today, we’ll visit the East Bank of Luxor, home to two of the most remarkable temple complexes in Egypt. Our first stop will be the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious site ever constructed in ancient Egypt. Most of the incredible structures you’ll see today date back to the New Kingdom, including the awe-inspiring Hypostyle Hall, with its massive columns built under Ramses II—a true architectural wonder. Next, we’ll visit the stunning Temple of Luxor, originally founded in the 14th century BC. This temple was expanded and embellished by various pharaohs over time, including Queen Hatshepsut and Ramses II. Its harmonious design and grandeur stand as a testament to the religious and political power of ancient Thebes. Following the tour, we will transfer you by private air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor Airport to board your domestic flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you with luggage collection and transfer you to your hotel in Cairo for check-in. The rest of the evening is free at leisure, perfect for exploring the vibrant streets of Cairo at night or relaxing at your hotel. Overnight in Cairo. [Breakfast]
