You’ll be met by our expert tour guide, who will accompany you in one of the unique tours in Cairo, where you’ll be able to visit some of our Islamic & Coptic monuments in the Egyptian capital. The first visit of the day will be to the Islamic complex to visit the Mosque of Amr ibn El-Aas, the oldest mosque in Egypt and Africa and one of the most important and famous mosques in Cairo.
Our next visit of the day will be to Ibn Tulun Mosque, built by Ibn Tulun, who was sent to rule the outpost of Al Fustat in the 9th century by the Abbasid caliph of Baghdad. The mosque is large enough for the community of Muslims, who are living in the area to assemble for Friday prayers.
We will then continue our tour in Cairo to visit El Mouiz Street, including the marvelous collection of Fatimid mosques and monuments. Also, we will pass by Khan El Khalili Bazaar to see the local products.
At the end of the tour, we will transfer you to Old Cairo area, in order to visit the historical churches that date to the Coptic times in Egypt, including the Hanging Church, Sergius and Bacchus Church & the Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra.
Finally, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo, where our services will be ended.
